User Content

You retain ownership of photos and content you upload to Sous. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to:

• Process your photos to generate recipes
• Store your photos and preferences to provide the service
• Display your content back to you within the application

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content you submit.

Recipes and Generated Content

Recipes generated by Sous are created using AI and are provided for your personal use. You may:

• Use, modify, and share recipes generated for you
• Print or save recipes for personal use

We do not claim ownership of recipes generated for you, but we make no guarantees about their uniqueness or originality.

Disclaimers

No Professional Advice: Sous is not a substitute for professional culinary, nutritional, or medical advice. Recipes and nutritional estimates are generated by AI and may contain errors.

Food Safety: You are responsible for ensuring proper food safety practices when preparing any recipes. Always verify ingredient freshness and cooking temperatures.

Allergies and Dietary Restrictions: While we offer dietary preference settings, AI-generated recipes may not account for all allergens or dietary needs. Always verify ingredients if you have food allergies or sensitivities.

Nutritional Information: Any nutritional estimates provided are approximations generated by AI and should not be relied upon for medical or dietary purposes.

Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee that Sous will be available at all times. We may:

• Modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time

• Perform maintenance that may temporarily affect availability

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LOVECRAFT LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
• Personal injury or property damage resulting from your use of recipes
• Any errors or omissions in generated content
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
• Service interruptions or failures

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST TWELVE MONTHS, IF ANY.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lovecraft LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms and changing the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of Sous after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
