1. What answer.ninja Is

answer.ninja is a suite of web applications operated by Lovecraft LLC:

Plates — Fitness and workout tracking
Praxis — Learning and study platform
Sous-GPT — AI-powered recipe generation

All apps share a common authentication system. By creating an account or signing in with Google, you agree to these terms for all answer.ninja applications.

2. Age Requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to use answer.ninja apps. By creating an account, you confirm you meet this requirement. If we learn a user is under 13, we will terminate their account and delete their data.

3. Your Account

One account per person per app. Don't share your credentials.
You're responsible for everything that happens under your account.
Provide accurate information when registering.
We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Shared Authentication

answer.ninja uses single sign-on (SSO). When you sign in with Google, a shared session is created across all answer.ninja apps. Each app maintains its own user profile linked to your Google identity.

Signing in to one app signs you in to all apps
Signing out via /auth/logout.php signs you out of all apps
Deleting your account in one app does not affect your accounts in other apps

5. Your Content & Data

You own your data.

Workout logs, study notes, recipes, and any content you create within answer.ninja apps belongs to you. We store it to provide the service and do not claim ownership of your user-generated content.

We retain a license to use your content solely for operating and improving the platform (e.g., displaying your data back to you, aggregate analytics).

6. AI-Generated Content

Some answer.ninja apps use AI (OpenAI, Anthropic) for features like recipe generation, study assistance, and workout suggestions. When using AI features:

Your prompts are sent to third-party AI providers for processing
AI output is provided as-is — we don't guarantee accuracy, especially for nutritional or health information
You're responsible for evaluating AI suggestions, particularly for dietary restrictions or fitness activities
AI-generated content should not be treated as professional medical, nutritional, or fitness advice

7. Acceptable Use

Don't use answer.ninja apps to:

Violate any laws or regulations
Abuse, harass, or harm other users
Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
Reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the platform or APIs
Circumvent rate limits or security measures
Upload malicious content or code

8. Service Availability

answer.ninja apps are provided "as is." We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We're not liable for downtime, data loss, or service interruptions. We recommend exporting important data regularly.

9. Limitation of Liability

Lovecraft LLC's total liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the past 12 months (for most users, this is $0 — our apps are currently free). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Termination

You can stop using answer.ninja apps at any time. We can suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. On termination, your right to use the service ends, but sections on liability and disputes survive.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. Significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration.
